I sell my jewelry via stores and in most cases I don't know who bought it. Occasionally, however, when there is a request for a complementary piece, an adjustment or a replacement of a lost/stolen one, I know where my jewelry found its home.

I am a primarily self-taught jewelry artist/artisan striving to blend the charm of handmade artistry with art historical sensibility.
Always interested in fine arts and crafts (B.A. in art history, Jagiellonian University , Krakow, Poland), I succumbed to my love of the jeweler's craft after a career as an academic (Jagiellonian University, Ph.D. in historical linguistics) and art and rare books librarian in preeminent research institutions in New York.
For over a decade, I have been designing and hand fabricating unique and limited edition pieces. My designs are inspired by the shape, color and texture of gemstones and guided by a deep appreciation of beauty drawn from a long study of art history.
Starting with the qualities of the precious and semi-precious stones themselves, I strive to highlight their natural beauty with hand-fabricated gold, gold-filled and silver settings, created by various wire techniques.
